Today we got to meet little Beau. At only eight days old he still had that newborn look to him, delicate skin and all. It would be a very special shoot today – not only as it was our first newborn session, but also with my wife Mareike as the photographer.

She had the idea for the shoot, which props to use and also how to incorporate the family’s love for horses and gardening. So it was only fair to let her put her vision to reality herself.

Luckily, Beau was very content and a joy to photograph. It seemed like he was right at home in the sets we set up for him – a true farmer’s child for sure!
